Minn-Kota PAAWS, ND GOODS Program Ambassador, is proud to partner with Greater Good Charities

GOODS is a program of Greater Good Charities that distributes food, essential supplies, clothing, housewares, toys, and more to pets and people in need across the world.

The increase in poverty, food insecurity, and domestic violence over the past several years has affected families, including their pets, resulting in a greater need for food and essential supplies across the globe for both people and pets alike.

The GOODS program provides pet food and supplies to Minn-Kota PAAWS as a GOODS Program Ambassador. PAAWS distributes items to qualifying non-profit organizations for distribution to people and pets in their communities.

Who Can Participate?

  • Non-Profit animal welfare organizations that have a valid, non-revoked IRS Determination Letter establishing their 501(c)(3) status may apply for pet food grants through the Minn-Kota PAAWS GOODS program.
  • A group applying under a Group Exemption or using an alternate name (for example “Doing business as…”) must submit the relevant documents as described by the IRS or state/local authorities.
  • GOODS and its local Ambassadors confirm that these criteria are met and monitor each group’s 501(c)3 status.

How Can My Non-Profit Apply?

  • Groups can fill out the application below.  The application is screened for criteria such as non-profit status, spay/neuter policy, adoption pages, and distance from nearest affiliate.
  • If your group's application is approved, you will be placed in the rotation for distributions.  When food/supplies are available, PAAWS will notify approved applicants and offer the opportunity to participate.
  • Minn-Kota PAAWS will notify each group of the amount of food and supplies allocated, the place and time for pickup, and the amount of handling fees, if any.
  • As a grant program, we cannot guarantee that food will be regularly available or that the amount granted will meet all of any organization's need for any period of time.

How to Apply

If you are interested in participating in the GOODS program, please fill out the application below.  If you have any questions, please email Erin:  erin@minnkotapaaws.org
