Spay It Forward Grant

The Spay It Forward Grant is intended for pet owners who qualify for our services, but cannot afford a spay or neuter at Minn-Kota PAAWS.  

To be eligible for a Minn-Kota PAAWS Spay It Forward Grant that may subsidize all or part of your pet's spay/neuter surgery you must meet all of the folloing criteria:

• Your pet is healthy and needs to be spayed or neutered
• You are on a needs-based form of public assistance and/or *
• Your household makes less than $48,000/year *

*You will be required to upload proof of income and receipt of public assistance before your application can be reviewed

If you are having trouble with the online application we have printed copies available.  An application can be obtained at our clinic during our normal business hours.

You will hear back regarding the status of your application within a week of application submission.  

If your animal is in need of urgent care, please contact a Full-Service or Emergency Veterinarian for immediate assistance.

The Spay It Forward program is funded entirely by Minn-Kota PAAWS.  PAAWS has limited resources.  We will fund as many applications as our resources allow, but we will not be able to offer assistance to all that apply.  Applications will be reviewed as they come in and funded as grant monies are available.
